COUNTER STRATEGY

1Kgs.19.2 – So Jezebel sent this message to Elijah: “May the gods also kill me if by this time tomorrow I have failed to take your life like those whom you killed.”
After making an honest prayer that brought down fire from the heavens. After slaying four hundred and fifty prophets of baal.I am talking of the man who commanded fire to rain and consume two sets of fifty solders and their captains.
Such a mighty man of power could not stand his ground aganist one woman. He was so terrified by her threat to the extent that he fled to the wilderness in search of death. All his fomer victories failed to give him any hope of success aganist this evil woman, therefore fleeing and death were his only hope.
It is the devil’s strategy, to raise one violent and threatening situation aganist you, that will make you forget all the great victories you acheived through the hand of the Lord. All records of fomer victory cease to exist when you think of your creditors and their demands. This sickness that has come up, has overshadowed all the testimonies you recorded.
In such a case David declared, “The LORD who saved me from the claws of the lion and the bear will save me from this Philistine!” You might shiver and be fearful, but God is not moved by the height of your situation.
He is always willing and is ever ready to stand by you in any storm. So why pack your tail between your legs now? The Lord who stood with you through college, sickness and in the thick of all generational wars, can still deliver you from this current Philistine.
This i tell you with boldness; YOU’RE NOT ALONE !
