LEASH YOUR TONGUE
by Prophetess BN Bondera
Job.4.8– My experience shows that those who plant trouble and cultivate evil will harvest the same.
God had a mission He wanted to accomplish through Job. But the terms and conditions of this mission portrayed Job as one who had sinned aganist God and therefore was receiving the punishment he deserved.
This line of thought is the one that brought a curse upon Job’s friends. They judged and condemned Job, yet he had done nothing to deserve such a treatment or to experience such affliction. But it was God’s plan to prove and shame the enemy by exposing His beloved servant to the arrows of satan.
I know there are a lot of people out there, condeming servants of God because of what they are passing through. People who conclude and speak negatively about someone as to why he/she is suffering yet being a devoted Christian. People who have stripped off the integrity and honour of someone once big only because of how that person has fallen. Therefore they conclude, that all along he was a pretentious lover of God, now his deeds has caught up with Him.
Be very careful you might be intercepting the plan of God through that person. And be very careful to attract a curse upon yourself because of your idle sentiments. Learn to put a leash on your tongue and let God be the judge when it comes to HIS servants and what they are passing through.
Don’t fall in the same trap, you might not find a Job to pray and break the curse for you. Remember prevention is better than cure. You lose nothing if you keep queit. Let God deal as HE wills with HIS servants. You, just leash your tongue, watch and pray.
SHALOM.
TODAY’S MEDITATION
Job.42.7 – After the LORD had finished speaking to Job, he said to Eliphaz the Temanite: “I am angry with you and with your two friends, for you have not been right in what you said about me, as my servant Job was.
