PROPHETIC FULFILLMENT 2

2Tim.4.14 – Alexander the coppersmith did me much harm. May the Lord repay him according to his works.
2Tim.4.15 – You also must beware of him, for he has greatly resisted our words.
In the days of Apostle Paul communication was not as easy as it is now. In those days there were no cellphones, no internet, no Facebook, no Instagram, no radio or television. Even transport system was no where near what it is now. Nowadays you just post something on social media and within a split of a second someone who is thousands of kilometers away will be able to see your post. But back in the days of the early church there was nothing like that.
My question has always been: if the means of transport and communication were not so well advanced in those days, how then did Alexander the Coppersmith follow the teachings of Paul so closely for him to be able to oppose every word he said. I then realized that Alexander could have been someone close to Paul, who attended most or all of his services and must have been following him for a time, his purpose being just to oppose Paul’s message. Today we still have Alexanders in our churches. You submit under the same anointing with them, they follow closely the same servant of God as you do, you probably serve in the same department, but their sole aim being to oppose everything you are taught. When we teach you the benefits of giving in the House of God, they come Nicodemously to you and discourage you from supporting the work of God. When we say find a place to serve in the House of God, they also join the department to plant disunity, gossip, hatred in that department.
Paul is therefore saying to Timothy, beware of Alexander. Today I also say to you, beware of today’s Alexander. He may be used by the devil to block that prophetic Word upon your life from being fulfilled.
