RELATIONSHIP

1Kgs.17.1 – And Elijah the Tishbite, of the inhabitants of Gilead, said to Ahab, “As the LORD God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, except at my word.”
Having seen all the evil that was being done by Ahab and his wife Jezebel, Elijah declared that there shall be no rain or dew in Samaria until he himself had commanded it to rain. And surely the heavens responded and there was a drought for 3 years.
Elijah spoke, and the heavens responded. You may not be in the same spiritual rank with Elijah for you to be able to declare a drought in the whole nation, but surely because you are a child of God, there are certain things you should be able to declare and they will be established. Before we consider the spiritual rank of any believer, it is important to first consider the person’s relationship with God. Elijah declared his words standing before the God of Israel. In other words, he knew he had a relationship with this God that when he declared something, the same God was obligated to enforce the declaration and make it come to pass.
How is your relationship with this God? Do you worship Him? Do you serve Him? Are you available when He needs you? Do you create time to fellowship with Him and read His Word every time and do what His Word says? Do you follow His principles faithfully? If your answer to most of these questions is yes, then you have a relationship with the Creator. Therefore, you possess the power to speak things into existence. Go on and exercise that power today and conquer the world.

Job.22.28 – You will also declare a thing, And it will be established for you; So light will shine on your ways.
