STRIVE FOR EXCELLENCE

1Cor.10.31 – Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
From the days of my youth up to now I have always marveled at the attention to detail whilst watching presidential or royal processions. I have always marveled at how the airforce jets manage to do the fly past at the very moment the president takes to the podium and police band starts to sing the national anthem. It is that precision that has always puzzled me. You look at the dressing of the soldiers during the inspection of the guard of honor, simply excellent, stunning, beautiful.
I then realised that before seeing what we see on TV, there are men and women who are dedicated who spend countless hours and sleepless nights preparing for such an event. The same it should be with us when we are doing the work of God or in our personal business. In fact we should be able to achieve a higher level of excellence than the authorities here on earth because we are ambassadors of heaven here on earth, “… a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people…. ;” (1Pet.2.9)
In whatever you do always remember that the God we serve is not a God of mediocrity but is a God of EXCELLENCE. This is one of my Secret to Success that has made me be here today as we celebrate the 12th Anniversary of GHMI: STRIVING FOR EXCELLENCE always for the Glory of God.
