VICTORY GUARANTEED

Prov.21.31 – The horses are prepared for battle, but the victory belongs to the LORD.
The preparation of horses and chariots, swords and shields for battle is done by us humans. However victory against our enemies does not depend entirely on how polished our plans are but victory is determined by whether God is involved in our plans or not.
No matter how polished your business plan is, if God is not involved the business may fail to attract suitable investors. No matter how perfect you and your spouse are, if God is not involved that marriage will collapse. Seemingly small and easy tasks become difficult and unachievable if God is not involved while those tasks that appear to be impossible become possible with the involvement of God. It was very easy for the children of Israel to capture and destroy a heavily fortified Jericho because God was with them. However without God they suffered a humiliating defeat at the hands of a small town called Ai (Joshua 7).
Whatever it is that you are planning on taking possession of today or this month make sure God is involved in your preparations. That is the only guarantee of victory that we have as children of God.
