MASKING UP TO COVER UP GREEDINESS?

You know we never used flattery, nor did we put on a mask to cover up greed–God is our witness. (1 Thessalonians 2:5)
From the very first chapter of the book of Joshua; rather with all the allotment Joshua did, there was no place and time which we read that Joshua received a bribe or any side kick to allot any family, clan or tribe a piece of land. According to Joshua chapter 19 (of today’s readings’) verses 49 and 50, Joshua did not demand or choose for himself the best of the land but as the Lord had commanded so he received his allotment.
It is common to hear stories when land is being distributed. Some getting better soils than the other because of connections or links with the leadership. Land grabbing has never produced the better of the land. Only idle or under utilised land are the produce of greediness and coverteousness. Make it your aim today to do what the early church did.
Acts 4:32 All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had.

Luke 12:13 Someone in the crowd said to him, “Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me.”
Luke 12:15 Then He [Jesus] said to them, “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; a man’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.”
COMMAND IT OUT:
You spirit of greediness and covetousness, I command you out of my life in Jesus mighty name.!!!
