CO-OPERATE EFFORT

Gen.29.26 – “It’s not our custom to marry off a younger daughter ahead of the firstborn,” Laban replied.
I belive Laban knew , that if Rachel got married first, it would expose or put Leah under pressure to the extent that she would end up rashly entering into marriage for the sake of silencing negative comments from friends and relatives.
This story saves to show us how strong the spirit of antimarriage is. It is such a powerful demon that your child cannot fight aganist it by him/ herself once it shows signs of its presence in his/her life.
In such a case parents have to intercede and come up with plans and strategies on how to counter this ancient demon lest it regenerates into a generational curse within the family.
Your daughter or son is inexperienced to notice, fight and defeat this spirit by her own in time enough to get married before its too late. This now requires the co-operate effort of the parents in fighting and defeating this demon of anti marriage.
We might not choose spouses for them, but we can pray about it, build alters for them, fast for them, seek deliverance for them. Taunting and passing negative comments aganist our family members afflicted by this demon won’t help at all, but Such actions will only put them under a lot of unnecessary pressure.
In this season, lets stand and fight this demon of anti marriage at all costs .
