PRINCIPLES OF AN ALTAR No. 2: LOCATION

1Chr.21.18 – Therefore, the angel of the LORD commanded Gad to say to David that David should go and erect an altar to the LORD on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
Having identified the PURPOSE of building an altar which in this month of April is to counter all evil altars, it is then very important also to consider the LOCATION of the altar. An altar needs to be propheticaly positioned, that is positioned at a position that God wants it to be positioned.
In Judges 6 Gideon was instructed by God to build an altar at the same position where the altar of Baal he had destroyed used to be. In today’s Scripture we hear once again God instructing David through His Prophet Gad to build an altar specifically on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
This month as we are building an altar to counter all evil altars you can ask God through His servant where to prophetically POSITION your altar.
