BIG OR SMALL

Deut.8.4 – For all these forty years your clothes didn’t wear out, and your feet didn’t blister or swell.
True generosity is not fully expressed when we give the extras from the abundance that we have. Rather, true generosity is shown when one is prepared to share willingly the little they have from their position of lack.
The same it is with thanksgiving. Thanksgiving from the heart is truly demonstrated when we start to thank God not only for the “big miracles” like parting the Red Sea for us but also for the “small miracles” like wearing the same clothes for forty without the clothes becoming worn out or too small. So just as Miriam and the women sang when they crossed the Red Sea they should also at one point have sang songs of thanksgiving for the clothes that they wore and did not wear out for forty years. Somehow they had to be reminded of that fact by the Holy Spirit in the Scripture above.
In this Month of Thanksgiving do not wait to thank God for the “big miracles” only but learn to thank God even for the “small miracles” like being able to smell the aroma of the food that you are eating today.
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:
👉🏿2Cor.8.2 – Though they have been going through much trouble and hard times, their wonderful joy and deep poverty have overflowed in rich generosity.
