BREAD OF LIFE

John.6.33 – For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”
John.6.34 – Then they said to Him, “Lord, give us this bread always.”
John.6.35 – And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.
For forty years the children of Israel ate manna in the wilderness until they came to the land of Canaan.
Like in every other society, obviously not everyone amongst them had livestock for meat or milk. Also because they were constantly on the move it was almost impossible to stay at one place and plant crops and wait until they harvest them. Thus it is very possible that a huge number of them relied solely on manna for the forty years they wondered in the wilderness. Surprisingly even though this large section of the society relied exclusively on manna for forty years we do not have any cases of malnutrition recorded amongst the children of Israel.
This means this Bread from heaven had everything one needed for their sustainance. Jesus Christ is this Bread of life. Seek Him diligently everyday and you shall never lack anything in your life and also have eternal life.
