CAST YOUR BURDEN

2Chr.20.12 – O our God, will You not judge them? For we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You.”
In our day to day lives, there are certain situations that will arise that you may fail to understand why or where or when or how they started. These situations normally arise when you least expect them.
From nowhere, your marriage may start to shake and eventually crumble. Having sacrificed everything for your teenage daughter to go to school, she then falls pregnant when she is about to write her exam or when she had already passed and was about to go to college. Or imagine being diagnosed with a chronic illness such as cancer or diabetes at a very young age or even losing both parents whilst you are still at school and there is no one else to take over that responsibility.
Such are the realities of life that will leave you feeling powerless and not knowing what to do. This is exactly how Jehoshaphat and the whole of Judah felt when the Ammonites, the Moabites, and the people of Mt. Seir came against them without any just cause. Under such circumstances, Jehoshaphat and Judah did the right thing: they did not put their hope and trust in their horses and chariots. They put their eyes on God.
When life throws at you challenges and hardships that are emotionally, spiritually, and physically stressful, whom do you turn to? Do you turn to your money or your education to save you? Today, whatever challenges that you may be facing, put your eyes on the Lord Jesus Christ. Cast all your burdens and worries unto Him, and He will certainly save you. No matter the challenges, hardships, or situations that you are in, put your eyes on Jesus.
