HIS PURPOSE

By PROPHET Dr. TB BONDERA

Prov.3.5 – Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;

Many of us, when we pray to God, asking for something, there is a certain way that we already have at the back of our mind that we expect God to address our issues through. Yet even though, for example, situation A maybe similar to situation B, it does not necessarily mean that God will address situation B in exactly the same manner that He addressed situation A. God himself decides how to handle a particular situation according to the purpose that He wants to achieve.

Likewise, God does not allow a particular situation to reach a certain point unless He has a purpose that He also wants to achieve, although at times, we may not understand the purpose. Even the time and the way that God intervenes in a particular situation is also determined by the purpose that He wants to achieve.

God led the children of Israel through the way of the Red Sea and allowed Pharaoh to pursue them so that “….the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I have gained honor for Myself over Pharaoh, his chariots, and his horsemen.” (Ex. 14:18). Jesus did not go to heal Lazarus when he was sick but “delayed” for two days. To us, He delayed but to Himself, He was on time. He allowed Lazarus to die “…. for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it.”(John 11:4).

Whatever situation that you are passing through, surrender everything into the Hands of God. The how part and the when part, leave that to God. He has a purpose that He wants to achieve through your situation. Trust Him. Trust the process. Allow His will to prevail.
