KEEP A DISTANCE

Josh.3.4 – Yet there shall be a space between you and it, about two thousand cubits by measure. Do not come near it, that you may know the way by which you must go, for you have not passed this way before.”
There are certain advantageous positions that we find ourselves in that if we are not careful or if we do not receive the revelation of how to conduct ourselves in those positions, they may actually act as disadvantages to us.
One such position is those positions that allow you easy access to anointed servants of God.
Sometimes, we get an opportunity to do business with anointed servants of God. Such positions, if not handled with wisdom, may act as the greatest hindrance to our breakthrough instead of being beneficial to us. The moment that we start to treat an anointed Vessel of God as our business partner, we may have already missed the mark. All you may ever talk about is business every time you are together and never get an opportunity to hear what God is saying to you through them. Serving direct to the servants of God or even having easy access to their inboxes whenever we feel like is of great danger if not handled properly. Have you ever noticed that the more access you have to servants of God, the more ordinary they appear to you. You start to know their favourite food, their hobbies, a little bit of their lifestyle when they are not on the pulpit. By so doing, they start to appear to be just human like everybody else, and the reverence you once had towards them start to diminish.
Yet God is saying to the children of Israel, “there shall be a space between you and the Ark….. Do not come near it. Let the Ark lead you, and you follow from a distance and be able to see where you are going. If you come too close to the Ark, you may end up thinking you are the same with the Ark and you maybe tempted to go in front of the Ark and yet “you have not passed this way before.”
Maintain a safe distance between you and the Ark for the Ark to be able to show you the way.

2Sam.6.7 – Then the anger of the LORD was aroused against Uzzah, and God struck him there for his error; and he died there by the ark of God.

Never get too close to the Ark….!!!
