SELF INTROSPECTION

Josh.7.12 – Therefore the children of Israel could not stand before their enemies, but turned their backs before their enemies, because they have become doomed to destruction. Neither will I be with you anymore, unless you destroy the accursed from among you.
God had instructed the children of Israel to destroy everything when they conquer Jericho. Only Rahab and those of her house were to be saved and the silver and gold taken into the treasury of the House of God.
However a man called Achan coveted a robe that he saw and took it together with some silver and gold and hid it in his tent. As a result the Glory of God departed from the camp of Israel and they suffered a humiliating defeat at the hands of a very small town called Ai.
There a certain disappointments you have been facing in your life or certain defeats you have suffered. Or maybe you are just going round and round at the same place, no progress in your business, career, project or marriage? It’s time for some self introspection: Is there not a pledge/vow you made in the House of God and did not fulfill? Or a tithe you have not yet brought into the House of God? It could be a sin that needs to be confessed? Whatever it is, make sure you remove that accursed item from your life and you will start to enjoy the supernatural provisions of God.
