LIVING WATERS

John.4.14 – but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”
One of the key functions of water to our physical bodies is to flush out all impurities or waste products from our body. This means that without sufficient water, our bodies would be filled with all forms of toxins that will ultimately lead to our death.
One of the key functions of the Living Waters is to give us life in abundance through flushing out all impurities from our spiritual body. When you receive this water, all waste products in your body are flushed out, and your status immediately changes. Once Saul received this Living Water that Jesus gives, his name immediately changed from Saul to Paul and his status changed from being one of the fiercest persecutors of the church to become one of the most zealous apostles of Christ. When the woman at the well in our Scripture today received this Water, her status changed immediately from a harlot to an evangelist.
Desire more to read the Word of God and to be filled by the Holy Spirit. These will flush out all impurities and waste products from your body. Just as there are signs of lack of physical water in our body, the existence of lust, gossip, jealous, envy, immorality, covetousness, fornication and many other ills are a clear testimony of lack of the Living Waters in one’s body. Avoid becoming spiritually thirsty or dehydrated because of the lack of the Living Waters in your life.
