TAKE ACTION

Esth.4.14 – For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”
As Christians, we are the moral compass of the world. Our major responsibility is to give the world direction and point them to Christ. And there is no better place to start with than within our own families.
If Esther had chosen to remain quiet and not stand up to fight for her own people, surely, as Mordecai said, God would have simply raised another person to fight for the Jews. This would have created the impression of Esther being a coward, selfish, or mean person who only cares about herself instead of using her position to deliver others.
This is exactly how the world views us sometimes, for at times, we choose to remain completely silent at a time we should speak. It is very important for us as believers to always realise that our duty is to “proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;” (1 Peter 2:9). When you and I choose to remain silent, the world itself will offer relief and deliverance for our families, which in most cases may be from some ungodly sources.
When those around us are facing challenges, to us who are born again, these are not challenges but an opportunity for us to direct them to the Light and the Truth. We cannot afford to remain silent whilst our relatives go and seek relief and deliverance from somewhere else. Who knows? May be we were called to the Kingdom for such a time as this.
