TREASURE

Judg.11.6 – Then they said to Jephthah, “Come and be our commander, that we may fight against the people of Ammon.”
We can not choose the families we were born into, but we certainly have the power to create the families we want to have.
This is so because the grace, treasures, gifts, or talents that God has placed within each one of us can not be corroded by family backgrounds. Even the situations that you pass through in this life do not have the power to destroy what God has placed in you as long as you remain in right standing with God. This is why the pit, being a slave or a prisoner, could not destroy the governorship that God had predestined for Joseph.
Similarly, being a son of a harlort and the subsequent betrayal from his brothers could not destroy the leadership grace that God had given to Jephthah. Even when he was chased away from home, living amongst “worthless” people, the men still acknowledged that there was something peculiar about Jephthah, and they chose him to be their leader. In the end, when Ammon attacked Israel, the elders of Gilead realised there was no one else who could deliver them besides Jephthah.
Maintain your relationship with God for the gift that God has given you to flourish. And when the time is right for that gift to manifest, even your enemies will come to the light emanating from you.
