BE STRONG

Mark.5.20 – And he departed and began to proclaim in Decapolis all that Jesus had done for him; and all marvelled.
I believe many of us have read several times one of the most well-known stories in the Bible regarding a man called Legion. This story has been preached many, many times, and we have all heard different interpretations of the story.
One of the most common misinterpretations we have heard is that the storm that arose in the sea whilst Jesus was on His way to the land of the Gadarenes was caused by the demons that were in this man alone.
Remember, the Great Commission was given to everyone and not only a select few. A closer look at the Scriptures would reveal that this man is actually among the very first to receive the Great Commission when he was sent to preach the Gospel to the Decapolis. So the storm that arose in the sea was not only fighting the deliverance of the man with the legion of demons but was also fighting the destinies of the people in the Decapolis who were supposed to hear this Gospel. In other words, the demons in this man combined with the demons in the Decapolis to fight against the impact that this testimony will have in the region.
The demons from the tombs and the mountains wanted to keep this man whilst those in the Decapolis did not want him to come there to testify about the goodness of God. That is why sometimes, you may feel that the forces that are fighting you are much higher to be fighting someone of your level. You are very correct. The spirits from your current location will be fighting to keep you where you are at the moment whilst at the same time those from the level that God wants to take you to are fighting that you must not come there.
The higher the impact that God wants you to cause, the greater the forces that shall fight you. You just have to be strong and keep on trusting in God and His Ways.

Luke.8.39 – “Return to your own house, and tell what great things God has done for you.” And he went his way and proclaimed throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done for him.
