ACTION

Hag.1.2 – “Thus speaks the LORD of hosts, saying: “This people says, “The time has not come, the time that the LORD’s house should be built.””‘
One of the greatest demon in the kingdom of the devil is the spirit of procrastination: continuously postponing things to be done now to a later date.
We keep saying that the time has not yet come to start that business. The time has not yet come to settle down. And, as always, this spirit will never run out of “valid” excuses to give you the reason to postpone the task at hand.
Many times, we know exactly what needs to be done, and on numerous occasions, we have the resources and the ability to do the task. However, this spirit will keep telling you that “now is not the time. You can do this later when there is more time or more money.” The children of Israel knew that the time was right to rebuild the temple and had, in fact, at one point started the rebuilding and later stopped (Ezra 4:6 going down) most probably because of the fear of king Artaxerxes. The rebuilding only restarted after the Word of God came again through the Prophet Haggai.
In other words, it was the prophetic Word from the Prophet Haggai that broke the demon of procrastination. The same it is with you in your life and in church today. For you to take action for certain things to be accomplished in your life, you need a prophetic declaration. This is the reason why God has spoken through His servant, the prophet, that it is now time to take action.
Go ahead and start that business or project. Start to make preparations for that wedding. As an assembly, there is no better time for you to buy those chairs or that PA system than now. Take the first step, and God will do the rest.
