DIVINE GUIDANCE

2Kgs.8.1 – Then Elisha spoke to the woman whose son he had restored to life, saying, “Arise and go, you and your household, and stay wherever you can; for the LORD has called for a famine, and furthermore, it will come upon the land for seven years.”
God has a special way in which He preserves His children so that they are not harmed or consumed by the calamities of this world.
One way in which God provides for His children is through giving them divine guidance. Isaac was instructed not to go to Egypt but to stay in Gerar when there was a famine in the land he dwelt in. Whilst in that foreign land he planted and harvested a hundred fold because he had been divinely directed to be in that land. The same it is with the widow in today’s Scripture. She and those of her household were preserved through the divine instruction to go somewhere for seven years because a famine was coming in the land she dwelt in.
Today ask God to give you supernatural guidance before you take your next step.
