FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS

2Kgs.8.2 – So the woman arose and did according to the saying of the man of God, and she went with her household and dwelt in the land of the Philistines seven years.
Most of our household appliances do not last long because we do not follow fully the instructions given by the makers of the goods.
The same it is in the spiritual world. Many times we fail to partake in the supernatural provisions because we ignore the instructions from our Maker given through His servants or at times we are selective in obeying the instructions. We obey those instructions that suit what we want and ignore the others. If this Shunemite woman had ignored totally the instruction from Elisha she and her household would have suffered from the famine for the seven years. If she had also delayed in obeying the instruction to go somewhere, she would have suffered from the famine partly.
As you are preparing to go to church today take stock of your obedience to the instructions from the servants of God and see how much it is affecting you in partaking in the supernatural provisions.
SCRIPTURE READING:
👉🏿Heb.13.17 – Obey your spiritual leaders and do what they say. Their work is to watch over your souls, and they know they are accountable to God. Give them reason to do this joyfully and not with sorrow. That would certainly not be for your benefit.
