📖 HEAVENLY PROVISION
By Prophet TB Bondera
1Kgs.17.9 – “Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. See, I have commanded a widow there to provide for you.”
God will never allow His chosen people to be destroyed by lack or abandon in times of famine. Even in seasons of hunger, shortages, and economic hardship, God always preserves and provides for His own.
To reveal Himself as Jehovah Jireh — the Lord who provides — God will sometimes use the most unlikely sources to sustain an anointed person.
During the severe drought in Israel, God commanded ravens to bring Elijah bread and meat every morning and every evening. When the brook from which Elijah drank eventually dried up, God still did not send him to a wealthy household for provision.
Had He done so, men would have credited human wealth for Elijah’s survival.
Instead, so that all glory would belong to Him alone, God sent Elijah to a widow and her son, who only had enough food left for one final meal.
Yet, in that place of insufficiency, the supernatural power of God was revealed.
In the same way, there may be moments in your life when resources seem limited and necessities appear insufficient. But the lack experienced by a child of God is never the same as the lack experienced by the world.
Your shortage is an opportunity for divine manifestation.
That is why, even in difficult economic conditions, God can still declare this a season of good news, divine help, and great blessings. For His provision does not come from the systems of this world, but from the inexhaustible treasures of Heaven.
