KNOWING GOD MORE

Hos.4.6 – My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.
In simple terms knowledge can be described as information acquired by one person from another person who is better informed than the recipient.
In the Scripture above, God is saying through the Prophet Hosea My people are perishing because you the priests who are supposed to impart the knowledge of Me to my people have refused to first acquire sufficient knowledge about Me to be able to teach them.
This means there are people whom God has chosen to teach others about who God is, how He operates, His character, behavior, principles etc. For us to know more about God we need to listen more closely to what these people teach us. This is why the Ethiopian eunuch in Acts 8:31 said to Philip how can I understand this Scripture on my own if there is no one to guide me.
The more knowledge you acquire of who God is and how He operates or what He can do, the higher your level of faith. For you to solidify your relationship with God, strive to acquire more knowledge about Him from those He sent to impart this knowledge to you.
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:
👉🏿Rom.10.17 – So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
