MARCHING OUT

Exod.5.9 – Let more work be laid on the men, that they may labour in it, and let them not regard false words.”
When the time had come for the children of Israel to march out of the land of bondage of Egypt, God sent His servant Moses together with Aaron to go and speak with Pharaoh.
This was a prophetic Word from God that now is the time for the children of Israel to go to the Promised Land. Since the prophetic Word had been released, one would have expected Pharaoh to release the children of Israel immediately. Surprisingly, Pharaoh responded with more cruelty. Instead of freedom, the prophecy resulted in more bondage. The foremen rightly blamed Moses for the added hardships when they said, May the LORD judge you for getting us into this terrible situation with Pharaoh and his officials. You have given them an excuse to kill us!”(Ex. 5:21).
This is exactly the point Pharaoh wanted to drive through: Give them more work that they may not listen to “false words”. In simpler terms, Pharaoh was simply saying, “Do not listen to what this Prophet and His God are saying because they are lying to you.”
The devil still uses the same modus operandi today. Whenever a prophecy is given, he tries to hijack it or delay its fulfilment so that you may start to doubt the vessel that God has used to speak the Word to you. This is why whenever a prophecy is given things may actually go from bad to worse. But, remember, the darkest hour is the one just before dawn. The children of Israel ultimately marched out of bondage. Ultimately, every Word of prophecy spoken into your life shall come to pass.
TODAY’S MEDITATION
Exod.12.41 – And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years–on that very same day–it came to pass that all the armies of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt.
