TAKING POSSESSION OF OUR INHERITANCE: 1

Gen.13.15 – for all the land which you see I give to you and your descendants forever.
Gen.13.17 – Arise, walk in the land through its length and its width, for I give it to you.”
In a certain article I read recently scientists were saying the maximum carrying capacity of the earth is 9 billion people. The current world population is approximately 7,9 billion. Without debating the merits or demerits of that article, it means according to the academics this earth still has enough space for an extra 1,1 billion people.
Now if this article is correct it means there is still enough land for everyone on this earth and those yet to be born. So why is it you and I still do not have a piece of land in our names? When God made a covenant with Abraham the first thing He promised him was land. All the wars that have been fought including those in The Bible have been over land. This clearly illustrate the importance of owning land.
If we are the children of Abraham by faith we should be beneficiaries of all the promises God made to him including ownership of land.
