TAKING POSSESSION OF OUR INHERITANCE: 2
Num.14.8 – If the LORD delights in us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us, “a land which flows with milk and honey.’
Num.14.9 – Only do not rebel against the LORD, nor fear the people of the land, for they are our bread; their protection has departed from them, and the LORD is with us. Do not fear them.”
The greatest obstacle to achieving our dreams or taking possession of our inheritance is fear. It could be fear of the unknown, fear to start, fear of the obstacles ahead, fear of failure. As a result many of us we prefer to remain in our comfortable zones, zones that we are familiar with. We are afraid to venture into uncharted territories.
We pay too much attention to the obstacles ahead of us instead of focusing on the opportunities beyond the obstacles just like what the children of Israel did. They failed to realise that the descendants of Anak were huge because of the milk and honey that flowed in the land. They instead focused on how huge the descendants of Anak were instead of focusing on the riches beyond the Anaks. Thus fear gripped them. Today cast out that fear and take a bold step in taking possession of what God has in store for you.
MEDITATION:
👉🏾Ps.56.3 – Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.
Ps.56.4 – O God, I praise your word. I trust in God, so why should I be afraid? What can mere mortals do to me?
DECLARATION:
⚡ I shall not be shaken…!!! (Ps. 62:6)
