WHAT IS YOUR MOTIVE?

Jas.4.3 – You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.
God is willing and able to grant us everything we ask for in prayer but He at times delays in answering or does not answer our prayers at all because our motives for asking are wrong. Besides sin, motive is one of the greatest hindrances to our breakthrough.
In Mark chapter 5, Jesus reminds us of what we should do after receiving our miracle when he said to Legion “Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He has had compassion on you.”
That financial breakthrough that you have been praying for, or is it marriage or job breakthrough; that health restoration: whatever it is that you have been praying for; do you want that breakthrough for your own pleasure or you want to “go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you,..”.
If your motive is to bring Glory to God then you are in line to receive the supernatural provisions from God.
