DISCOVERING YOUR PURPOSE: (1)

1 Samuel 3:8 So the Lord called a third time, and once more Samuel got up and went to Eli. “Here I am. Did you call me?” Then Eli realized it was the Lord who was calling the boy.
Looking at how Samuel was conceived in his mother’s womb, it is quite clear that he was called by God to be a prophet even before his birth. Since a prophet is a mouthpiece of God it means for one to be a prophet, one needs to recognize the Voice of God, hear and be able to interpret it.
For Samuel to be able to identify and hear the Voice of God he needed Eli to teach him. The more he heard God speaking, being able to interpret and speak the Word from God, the more Samuel grew in stature before all of Israel. The Bible actually says And all Israel ….knew that Samuel was confirmed as a prophet of the Lord.
In other words, when Samuel recognized that his purpose on this earth was to be a prophet of God that is when the Glory of his star began to shine. The more he discovered his purpose, the brighter his star shone until all Israel could see its Glory. But remember it was Eli who identified that it was God calling Samuel and then taught Samuel to recognize the Voice of God. In short, you need an Eli in your life to be able to discover your purpose in this life for the Glory of your star to manifest.
TODAY’S MEDITATION:
👉🏽1 Samuel 3:9 So he said to Samuel, “Go and lie down again, and if someone calls again, say, ‘Speak, Lord, your servant is listening.’” So Samuel went back to bed.
DECLARE:
God use your servant to help me to identify my purpose….!!!
